They have also added a more robust original selection than at launch to complement the service’s classics like Top Gun, the Mission: Impossible series and Grease.įor now, Paramount+ can’t compare to the depth of a catalogue like Max’s or the award-winning original works at other streamers, but it has a solid library with at least 30 films you should see. Rounders and Blow are other examples of movies Demme was a huge part of that are still well regarded today. Back in the late 90's and early 00's it seemed like he couldn't miss with his movies and so many are still good today. I was always impressed with Rick's abilities like in the behind the scenes footage of Michael Jackson's Thriller on which he was heavily involved in the makeup effects especially Michael's werewolf turn. O'Neal Compton almost steals the show with his great performance as the over the top protective southern dad when trying to determine who sired the mixed race child. The chemistry between Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence was amazing and it had great performances from Bernie Mac (RIP!,) Michael Taliferro (RIP!,) and even Rick James (also RIP!!)
